Boarding
As a devoted pet parent, you'd probably love to be able to bring your companion with you everywhere you go - including trips out of town. After all, they are members of the family. Unfortunately, bringing your pet along for every vacation or business trip isn't always possible. Do you have a plan in place for who will care for your companion the next time you have to leave town without them? Why not turn to someone with whom your pet is comfortable, where he or she will be surrounded by familiar faces and immersed in a warm, welcoming environment? Henry County Animal Hospital is more than just a medical facility. We also offer full service boarding to accommodate our clients when they need someone to care for their furry family members.
We offer clean, spacious living and sleeping quarters, complete with plush, comfortable bedding which we're happy to supply at no extra charge. Of course, should your pet prefer, you are welcome to bring his or her own bedding, as well as toys, blankets and anything else that would help your pet feel more comfortable. Guests enjoy plenty of opportunity to rest as well as participate in exercise, such as daily walks, to keep them active during their stay. Dogs and cats enjoy safe, separate boarding areas, all of which are supervised by our experienced staff.
Our boarders are fed a delicious, nutritious diet of food supplied by us, twice per day. If your pet prefers a different food or requires a prescription diet to manage his or her health and wellbeing, you may feel free to send it along with them. Pets that require medication will be well cared for by our medical staff, who will also be available to administer any other necessary medical care should the need arise at any time during your pet's stay.
In order to achieve our goal of making every stay at our boarding facility as positive and safe an experience as possible, we must ask that all pets staying with us be up to date on all of their required vaccinations and completely flea-free prior to their arrival. If you have questions about this, or would like to have these services performed, simply make an appointment in advance of your dates of travel and we'll be happy to make sure your companion is ready to board with us.
